Hastings Conquerors American Football Club are about to embark on their second ever league season in the BAFA National Leagues. The club are actively looking for volunteers who may be interested in helping film games, training sessions and also to help provide content for the clubs social media platforms such as Youtube, Facebook and the clubs website hastingsconquerors.co.uk

The Conquerors are run entirely by volunteers and need assistance in these areas to help raise the profile of the club locally to attract more players, volunteers, sponsors and supporters. Those already involved with the club enjoy the camaraderie that comes from being a member of a positive and supportive community of local likeminded people. However, there are also vocational benefits to volunteering for the club such as the opportunity to practice and gain real experience in the Sports Media industry, and the chance to add some often much needed experience to your CV.

The team is fortunate this year to have classroom facilities and elevated filming platforms at our training venue, and we are also users of the globally used HUDL sport film review technology which we use to help support our theoretical learning of the sport and to develop our teams performance in games.

The club also has a small selection of HD cameras and equipment to perform the role. The team are most active on Sundays which is when the team train and from April to September will be playing games.

We would welcome anyone interested to contact the clubs founder and chairman Chris Chillingworth at chrisc@hastingsconquerors.co.uk to discuss the opportunity in more detail.
